I'm not the biggest fan of her stuff, but I did buy her album and quite liked a few of the tunes on it. A unique voice and a name-change I believe made her as famous as she is. I also listened to an interview with her on "JJJ" here in Australia, and was delighted at how easy-going and lighthearted her humour was. A fitting position for her in the 100th spot :)

In at 99 is Aqua's lone single, it seems! They released 'Like A Robot' but I don't think it did that well. This one I fell in love with in the earlier part of the year. Just awesome striking-instuments and a beat and Lena's voice, oh I loved it enough to give it a peak of #3 at one stage!
I also had the pleasure of seeing them perform live at The Hi-Fi far here in West-End, and I still believe it was the best concert I attended this year!!

Okay, I'll admit it. He was my favourite throughout the whole X-Factor Australia competition in 2011, and when he won it, I pretty much screamed like a schoolgirl :D

His good looks, his voice, his attitude, and the first "Lil Rocker" Australia has had for a long time. I'm proud to enter Reece in the year-end chart.

I would be in awe if I got the chance to see these guys perform live, especially this song.

I've been a Paloma fan ever since I heard the amazing "New York". This song struck a chord with me as the follow-up song, being the second song for her to enter my chart this year. I also saw her at the Queen's diamond jubilee celebrations helping with some cooking segment and she was quite the character :D Nothing to do with the music, but it still added to her charm.
The main thing about this song is I related to it SO MUCH!!! I seem to have a lot of "30 minute love affair"s :)

J-Lo's best effort since "On The Floor". She's actually only just left the country here after her first tour, but I didn't go and see her :D Friend's said she was amazing though!

She's gunna have to do well to ever beat this one.

What a lovely little tune this was. My first ever single from Ryan Star, and it's made a whole 30 positions higher than the main chart! A top 40 year-end hit!
I think it's the interesting choice of instruments used and how well they blend in with each other, coupled with a kick-ass voice!
